T-ara's Hyomin Faces Culinary Challenge with Renowned Critic Noh Hee-young on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'

Hyomin, a former member of T-ara who married a businessman last April, is set to meet Noh Hee-young, a 62-year-old renowned culinary critic and marketing expert, who is 26 years her senior.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2's variety show 'New Release, Pyeonstorang', airing on the 17th, Hyomin, known for her meticulous planning in cooking, finds herself in an unprecedented state of panic. Previously, she gained attention for her detailed cooking plans and her skills as a certified Japanese cuisine chef.

In the VCR to be aired, Hyomin begins cooking in her luxurious newlywed home worth billions, nervously checking her plan and saying, “I have to be quick today because someone is coming soon.” The guest causing Hyomin's anxiety is none other than her close friend, the 'witch' known for her sharp critiques, Noh Hee-young. Noh is a prominent figure in the culinary industry and served as a judge on the 'MasterChef Korea' series, where she discovered the winner of 'Black and White Chef 2', Choi Kang-rok.

Hyomin, sticking to her detailed plan, starts cooking, but her plans are disrupted when the doorbell rings earlier than expected. In a fluster, she greets Noh Hee-young, whose mere presence brings laughter to the 'Pyeonstorang' crew. Despite Hyomin's request for her to rest, Noh enters the kitchen, intensifying Hyomin's nervousness. Hyomin inadvertently mutters, “Why is she coming?” eliciting laughter.

Observing Hyomin's cooking, Noh Hee-young asks sharp questions like, “Why are you making this dish?” and “Why are you doing it this way?” creating a tense atmosphere reminiscent of a cooking survival show. She further emphasizes, “I watch every cooking process,” and “My mouth can't lie. My expression reveals everything the moment I taste the food,” making Hyomin tremble. In an interview with the production team, Hyomin humorously confessed, “I feel sorry for the 'MasterChef Korea' contestants,” causing laughter.

Hyomin has planned a meal tailored for Noh Hee-young. Whether Hyomin can withstand Noh's sharp critiques and complete her cooking as planned, and what Noh's evaluation of Hyomin's food will be, will be revealed on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang' after the 'Friday Night Baseball' broadcast.
