BTS's beloved variety show 'Run BTS' is making a comeback after three years.

On September 30, BTS released a teaser video for 'Run BTS 2.0' on their official YouTube channel. This marks the return of the show since the special episode in 2023, much to the delight of fans who have been eagerly awaiting the group's full chemistry.

The teaser video features the members discussing content ideas for 'Run BTS 2.0', considering rapidly changing trends and proposing various items to heighten anticipation for the main episodes.

Since its debut in 2015, 'Run BTS' has been a staple of BTS's self-produced content, showcasing the members' playful charm through various games and missions, earning the love of ARMYs worldwide. The show has been a record-breaker, with 155 episodes released from 2015 to 2021, amassing approximately 140 million views on YouTube. Additionally, the 10 special episodes released in 2022 and 2023 have surpassed 130 million views. Notably, the 'Fly BTS Fly Part 1' episode, featuring a flying yoga challenge in 2023, alone garnered over 30 million views.

In 2024-2025, the spin-off content 'Run Jin' continued the excitement. This solo variety show, planned by member Jin to express his gratitude to fans, featured appearances by top-tier guests, including South Korean national athletes, Japanese actor Yutaka Matsushige, and Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, creating a buzz. It also surpassed 100 million cumulative views, proving its unique content power. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new communication style that 'Run BTS 2.0' will bring with its expanded scale.

Meanwhile, according to a preview article by Billboard, BTS topped the 'Billboard 200' and 'Hot 100' charts for April 4. On Spotify's weekly charts (March 20-26), they dominated the 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' global charts. In October, BTS will hold stadium concerts in South America, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 shows, including those in Goyang, North America, and Europe, have sold out.
