Singer and actor Im Chang-jung showcased his unfiltered wit and entertainment skills.

On the October 30th episode of tvN STORY's variety show 'What to Do with the Leftovers', Im joined the 'People of Geumchon House' members, revisiting nostalgic places from 30 years ago and sharing joyful moments.

During the broadcast, Im revealed the backstory of how he joined 'People of Geumchon House'. He confessed, "I was unknown at the time, but my manager pulled some strings. To seize the one chance given, my friends and I brainstormed ideas all night." He also shared that his signature 'comic dance' was inspired by rural men, and he reenacted the dance, filling the set with laughter.

Reflecting on the golden year of his life, 1997, Im vividly recounted his peak days. He reminisced about winning music awards and the success of the film 'Beat' following 'People of Geumchon House'. When Jung Sun-hee recalled, "Even when your popularity skyrocketed, you remained the same without arrogance," Im humorously responded, "The stream in front of the filming site was all my saliva."

The conversation also touched on music. Im listed his top 5 life songs, sharing stories behind hits like 'Already to Me', the national favorite 'A Glass of Soju', and his comeback song after six years, 'It's Been a While', which he remembers as his most nerve-wracking performance. He then delivered an impromptu live performance, capturing the voice and emotion of his prime.

Regarding his recent release 'Crazy Guy', he described it as the "ultimate self-deprecating ballad", following songs like 'A Guy Like Me', 'Fool', and 'Idiot', showcasing his 'variety show cheat key' persona.

Im also visited the filming location of 'People of Geumchon House', finding his old home site in the now-changed Geumchon area after 30 years. During this visit, he reunited with the homeowner who had cared for the cast and crew. She recalled, "At first, I cooked for them, but later, Im cooked for himself, which was convenient."
