Song Geon-hee Joins Cast of ENA's New Crime Thriller 'Scarecrow'
Actor Song Geon-hee has been confirmed to star in ENA's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow'.

Song Geon-hee, who gained public recognition through the drama 'Run Away with Seon-jae', has chosen 'Scarecrow' as his next project. He is set to showcase a more mature and emotionally deep performance, moving beyond his previous youthful romance image.

'Scarecrow' is a crime thriller that follows a detective tracking down the real culprit behind a series of murders. The story unfolds as he unexpectedly forms an alliance with the person he despises the most. Spanning from 1988 to 2019, the drama promises intense suspense centered around the intertwined fates and truth-seeking journey of two men.

In the drama, Song Geon-hee plays Lee Ki-beom, the devoted boyfriend of Kang Soo-young (played by Seo Ji-hye), who is the sister of the protagonist Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo). Lee Ki-beom is characterized by his warm nature and unwavering values, showcasing steadfast love and deep affection for his family in any situation.

Song Geon-hee is gaining attention as a next-generation male actor capable of portraying both the innocence of youth and profound emotional depth. He has established himself as a 'youth star' with a natural presence, high immersion in his roles, and a combination of a gentle image and strong inner character. In this project, he is expected to display a more mature masculine charm and deeper emotional acting through his portrayal of a character with unwavering love.

'Scarecrow', featuring Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-joon, and Kwak Sun-young, is set to premiere on April 20th at 10 PM on ENA.
