Lee Sang-min Returns to 'My Little Old Boy' Amidst Controversy Over Remarriage
On the episode of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' aired on the 29th, a team-building event was shown featuring 'old members' Tak Jae-hoon, Lim Won-hee, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Choi Jin-hyuk, alongside 'new members' Yoon Si-yoon, Yoon Hyun-min, and Jo Jin-se.
Heo Kyung-hwan remarked, "I thought I'd remain the youngest, but everyone got married in 1-2 years," referencing Lee Sang-min, Kim Jong-kook, Kim Jun-ho, and Kim Jong-min, who left the show after marriage. Tak Jae-hoon commented, "How is marriage so easy?" and noted the show's severe manpower shortage.
Tak Jae-hoon expressed disbelief, asking, "How can you show your face here?" while Lim Won-hee raised his voice, "You're ruining the program!" Previously, the show 'Shoes Off, Single for Men' faced cancellation after Lee Sang-min and Kim Jun-ho remarried.
The members questioned Lee's eligibility to rejoin. Heo Kyung-hwan asked if he had separated, to which Lee replied he was happy. Tak Jae-hoon retorted, "Then you're not 'My Little Old Boy.' You should leave." He advised, "If you have a girlfriend, meet her secretly," while Lee, despite feeling uneasy, participated in the team-building event.
Lee Sang-min registered his marriage with a non-celebrity 10 years his junior in April last year. Despite remarrying, he continued to appear on 'My Little Old Boy,' sparking controversy by sharing his post-marriage life.
In a July broadcast, Lee and his wife visited a fertility clinic, revealing details about their IVF process, including ovarian age and sperm motility. This led to increased public backlash against Lee and Kim Jun-ho, with calls for their departure. Lee's unexpected return to the show after 8 months has reignited questions about the program's identity.
