Q. How do you feel about concluding your journey on 'The King of Trot 3'?
A. It started last year, and with spring approaching, it's hard to believe the program has ended. I'm grateful to my agency family, the sisters, and staff who supported me throughout this journey. I also sincerely thank everyone who continuously encouraged and loved me, including the official fan club 'Only Yeon'.
Q. This is your second trot competition after 'Miss Trot 3'. Was there any pressure participating at such a young age?
A. 'Miss Trot 3' was a great opportunity to make my name known, but I felt I couldn't showcase enough performances, which left me with some regrets. Although there was pressure this time as well, I wanted to show my growth as a singer and present a good image for my family, and I believe it was a good decision.
Q. What did you focus on while preparing for the performances on 'The King of Trot 3'?
A. I wanted to show that 'Lee Soo-yeon can create such performances'. I aimed to present pure stages suitable for my age, as well as performances centered on showmanship and traditional trot, which was enjoyable.
Q. What was the happiest and most regrettable moment during the program?
A. The happiest moment was winning first place in the semifinals. I worked hard to deliver a great performance, and achieving good results was rewarding. However, I regret not being able to deliver a better performance as a team leader in the second round of the finals due to an injury.
Q. How will 'The King of Trot 3' be remembered by 'Singer Lee Soo-yeon'?
A. It will be remembered as a special stage that reminded me of the importance of a singer's mindset and the precious love from the public. I learned a lot from the sisters, and it made me appreciate the stage and feel grateful as a singer.
