Terminally Ill Man's Last Wish to Reunite with Estranged Brother Sparks Unexpected Drama
On the upcoming episode of Channel A's 'Secrets of the Detectives,' airing on the 16th at 10 PM, the second part of an unprecedented urgent request unfolds. The story centers around Koo Chul-hoe, a stage 4 liver and stomach cancer patient, who has been given only 2-3 months to live by his doctors.
Koo, the fifth of six siblings, shared a special bond with his youngest brother. The younger brother was a steadfast support for Koo, who had not married and took responsibility for the family. In return, Koo sold his prized cattle to fund his brother's wedding. However, a major argument over a boiler incident led to their estrangement, and they haven't spoken in 14 years. Realizing his mistake, Koo has lived with deep regret. Upon hearing the story, Defconn expressed his hope for a reunion, saying, "I really hope they meet."
The sharp response leaves the 'Secrets of the Detectives' studio in shock and confusion. The episode raises questions about the hidden stories within this family and whether Koo's dying wish to reunite with his brother will be fulfilled.
The episode also features star chef Park Eun-young, known as the 'Goddess of Chinese Cuisine,' who joins as a guest detective. Recently gaining fame for her unique dance moves, Park performs the 'Wanja Queenka' dance, heating up the set. When it's revealed that fellow chef Kim Poong has never beaten Park in a cooking competition, Defconn jokes, "Kim Poong was just jam to Park Eun-young," eliciting laughter.
When asked why he struggles against Park, Kim Poong humorously admits, "When I face chefs like Yoon Nam-no, my fighting spirit rises," causing an uproar. The playful rivalry between Kim Poong and his 'nemesis' Park Eun-young can be seen on this episode of 'Secrets of the Detectives.'
