Love Triangle Intensifies in JTBC's 'Efficient Meeting of Singles': Han Ji-min Caught Between Park Sung-hoon and Lee Ki-taek

Han Ji-min finds herself in a sweet dilemma between Park Sung-hoon and Lee Ki-taek.

In the fifth episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles,' aired on the 14th, Song Tae-seop (played by Park Sung-hoon) and Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Ki-taek) continue their passionate pursuit of Lee Yi-young (played by Han Ji-min).

Song Tae-seop, tasked with setting up a pop-up event booth at The Hills Hotel at Lee Yi-young's suggestion, embarks on a collaboration that blends work with personal interest. Using the project as a pretext, Song Tae-seop increases opportunities to meet Lee Yi-young and boldly asks her out on a formal date once the work is completed, raising her heartbeat.

The budding romance between Lee Yi-young and Song Tae-seop blurs the lines between work and dating. Song Tae-seop, showing his thoughtful side, suggests a post-work date and brings drinks for the purchasing team, while they share their travel preferences during a hotel room inspection, closing the distance between them. They soon find themselves spending time together beyond work hours.

Shin Ji-soo's dopamine-filled counterattack begins. Upon hearing about Lee Yi-young and Song Tae-seop's kiss, Shin Ji-soo asks if they are dating, and smiles with relief when Lee Yi-young says they are not. He casually remarks, "Who gives their heart after just one kiss?" and suggests a bike drive, securing another meeting with her.

Later, Shin Ji-soo, posing as a delivery driver, visits The Hills Hotel and steps in as Lee Yi-young's guardian when she accidentally burns herself with hot coffee. He takes her to the hospital for treatment and lifts her spirits with a motorcycle drive and a ramen date by the Han River, bringing a smile back to her face.

As Song Tae-seop and Shin Ji-soo's straightforward approaches heat up, an awkward yet thrilling situation arises. Song Tae-seop encounters Lee Yi-young returning home with Shin Ji-soo after hearing about her accident. On the day of The Hills Hotel project event, Shin Ji-soo joins as a bartender, leading to another uncomfortable encounter among the three.

The trio ends up together from the event site to the after-party, and Song Tae-seop, unable to secure a seat at the same table as Lee Yi-young, drinks heavily out of frustration, showing a vulnerable side. Lee Yi-young, concerned for the intoxicated Song Tae-seop, stays by his side, taking care of him.

The next morning, Lee Yi-young wakes up in a hotel room, shocked to find Song Tae-seop in the same bed. As she tries to recall the previous night's events, she is further stunned to see Shin Ji-soo watching them with a cold gaze from the sofa. The cliffhanger ending in the hotel room leaves viewers wondering what new developments or crises this thrilling love triangle will face.
