MBC's 'I Live Alone' Hits Lowest Ratings in 5 Years as Announcer Ko Kang-yong Prepares for a Big Move
The upcoming episode, airing on the 13th, will showcase Ko Kang-yong's decision to move and his journey to find a new home.
MBC announcer Ko Kang-yong has gained empathy from viewers by sharing the reality of a new employee's life through 'I Live Alone.' His first appearance in June last year recorded a 5.5% viewership rating, with subsequent appearances in August and December reaching 6.8% and 5.4%, respectively.
Ko Kang-yong then seeks other loan options, and his nervousness ahead of his first-ever loan consultation draws attention. During the consultation, he is overwhelmed by unfamiliar terms and the extensive list of required documents. He admits, “It was really difficult,” as he faces the harsh realities of adulthood.
To make the most of his precious half-day off, Ko Kang-yong is seen having a quick lunch with a triangle kimbap. His journey to secure his first loan for the move will be featured in the episode airing at 11:10 PM.
Meanwhile, the episode of 'I Live Alone' that aired on the 6th recorded a 4.6% viewership rating, the lowest since the 4.2% rating of episode 422 in November 2021. The show saw the departure of key figures like Park Na-rae and Key at the end of last year.
