Rising Star Jeon Yu-jin Joins 'New Release Pyeonstorang' as Special MC

Born in 2006, singer Jeon Yu-jin is set to make a special appearance as an MC. Jeon Yu-jin, who won the 'Active Singer King' title in 2024, received a prize of 1 billion won. She later enrolled in the Practical Music Department at Dongduk Women's University in 2025.

On the upcoming episode of KBS2's variety show 'New Release Pyeonstorang' airing on the 13th, viewers will get a glimpse into the delightful cooking lives of multi-talented goddess Lee Jung-hyun and the ever-dedicated cook Oh Sang-jin. Adding to the excitement, Jeon Yu-jin, known for her powerful vocals and continuous growth, will join as a special MC, much to the delight of her fans.

During a recent studio recording of 'Pyeonstorang', Jeon Yu-jin greeted viewers as a special MC. Observing her growth, the 'Pyeonstorang' family expressed their amazement, saying, "She's really grown up." MC Boom commented on Jeon Yu-jin's development, recalling, "I first saw her in a competition program when she was in 8th grade. She later won first place in another competition as a high school student. She's growing rapidly."

When Jeon Yu-jin mentioned, "I'm now a college student of the class of '25," the 'Pyeonstorang' members playfully asked, "Have you been on any dates?" Jeon Yu-jin candidly shared, "Group dates are trendy these days, so I tried it," causing laughter and excitement among the cast. Her college group date story brought joy and excitement to everyone on set.

Jeon Yu-jin's revelation about her group date experience prompted Oh Sang-jin, a popular figure during his college days, to share his own dating stories. However, his 'back in my day' tales were met with laughter, as even Chef Lee Yeon-bok jokingly advised, "Don't do that. You sound old," leaving everyone in stitches. The contrast between Jeon Yu-jin's and Oh Sang-jin's experiences piques curiosity.

As a special MC, Jeon Yu-jin received plenty of affection from the 'Pyeonstorang' family. Viewers can look forward to her special role, along with Oh Sang-jin's daily life and Lee Jung-hyun's special guest, on 'New Release Pyeonstorang', airing at 8:30 PM.
