Baek Ki-sung and Lee Eun-bi, who tied the knot in 2017, shared some candid moments on the latest episode of TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Lovebirds,' which aired on February 9th. The couple celebrated Valentine's Day with surprise events for each other. Baek Ki-sung invited his long-time friend Yoon Jung-soo and his wife Won Jin-seo for a hearty meal, creating a warm atmosphere. Yoon Jung-soo, who recently celebrated his birthday, proudly showed off a gold necklace gifted by his in-laws, joking about the rising gold prices.

In a playful moment, Lee Eun-bi surprised everyone by taking an abalone from Baek Ki-sung's mouth, prompting studio guest Hwang Bo-ra to exclaim, "Are you crazy?! Is that okay?!" with laughter.

During their conversation, Baek Ki-sung revealed that he experienced sudden hearing loss after trying for a natural pregnancy with eight consecutive days of intimacy. Yoon Jung-soo humorously remarked, "Even a healthy person would be exhausted after eight days." He also shared a similar experience from the early days of his relationship, where he had severe headaches and even went for a CT scan, fearing a brain issue. His wife, Won Jin-seo, jokingly revealed the cause, saying, "It was several times a day," to which Baek Ki-sung quipped, "Trying to have a child might kill the father first," causing laughter.

Baek Ki-sung expressed his gratitude to Yoon Jung-soo, who supported him during his struggling days as a singer, through a heartfelt letter. He said, "Whenever I wanted to give up on my singing career, Jung-soo was there," tearing up. Yoon Jung-soo reciprocated, "Ki-sung is the only one who listens to all my stories," showcasing their strong bond.

Newcomer Hong Seok-cheon shared his story of adopting his sister's two children as his own. He explained, "I didn't initially plan to adopt, but I worried that the children might be a burden to my sister as she started anew after her divorce. I agreed to take care of them so she could find new love," recalling the time when his sister had to flee with her children at night.

His daughter expressed her deep trust in Hong Seok-cheon, saying, "I've long accepted him as my father. If he wants to hear me call him dad, I will. But I'm not sure if he wants that," adding, "Life changed completely that day. The psychological stability... I never regret being adopted."

Ahead of a family meeting, Hong Seok-cheon admitted, "I don't get nervous meeting the president, but meeting in-laws is nerve-wracking." However, he quickly eased the tension with his charm, jokingly asking if he could be called "brother." He later praised his future son-in-law's positive energy.

In a letter to his in-laws, Hong Seok-cheon expressed his concerns, "I'm quite an unusual person, and I worry about being a burden. I pray you accept our daughter warmly," shedding tears. His in-law responded, "My husband says such things are nothing in today's world. Despite having no experience raising children, he truly accepted his niece as his daughter. He's a warm-hearted person." In an interview with the production team, Hong Seok-cheon reflected, "Family is a great shield. It's a challenge to overcome," adding with a smile, "Though it feels like an added challenge now, it will become a shield later."
