Hong Seok-cheon Meets In-Laws Ahead of Daughter's Wedding on 'Joseon's Love Match'

Hong Seok-cheon, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, recently met with his future in-laws as his daughter prepares for her upcoming wedding. This heartwarming moment was captured on the TV Chosun variety show 'Joseon's Love Match,' which aired on the 9th.

During the episode, Hong Seok-cheon shared a touching story about adopting his sister's children. He revealed, "I have a daughter and a son," explaining that he adopted his younger sister's children after she went through a difficult divorce. "My sister found herself in a bad situation with a man she should never have met. As soon as I got the call, I told her to bring the kids and come to me," he recounted. Hong decided to adopt the children to provide them with a stable home, saying, "I found out I could adopt them into my family registry."

As the meeting with his daughter's future in-laws approached, Hong Seok-cheon admitted to feeling a bit nervous. He expressed his concerns, saying, "You already know who I am. Some people might not understand someone like me. I'm less worried about my future son-in-law because he's young, but I'm not sure about the in-laws."

The future in-laws, however, were supportive and understanding. The father-in-law remarked, "We've seen your work. You're delightful. I'm not a member of your fan club, but I think you're a fun and good person." Hong Seok-cheon humorously responded, "I don't have a fan club," and added, "I'm famous not just as a celebrity but for other reasons too. I might end up liking you more than you think." The mother-in-law reassured him, saying, "I looked you up. My husband explained that in today's world, those things don't matter."
