Eric, who is the General Manager of the Intercontinental Hotel, currently works in Taiwan, maintaining a long-distance marriage with Jeon Soo-kyung.

Upon hearing the news that his daughter and son-in-law would be visiting, Jeon Soo-kyung's 97-year-old father prepared himself meticulously. He followed an old barbershop style, using a hot towel to open his pores before shaving his entire face with a disposable razor. Han Hye-jin expressed concern, saying, "I'm worried he might get hurt," but also found it intriguing, wondering if it was the secret to his skin. Jeon Hyun-moo admired his grooming routine, calling him the "oldest grooming enthusiast."

After his elaborate preparations, Jeon Soo-kyung's father eagerly welcomed his son-in-law, Eric, with a warm embrace, even bypassing his daughter. He jokingly mentioned wanting to have a boxing match with Eric, to which Eric playfully responded, engaging in a friendly boxing match that brought laughter.

Eric attempted to break the ice by saying, "I'm 67 years old this year," but Jeon Soo-kyung's father, unable to understand, simply nodded with an awkward smile, waiting for his daughter to return. Eric admitted, "I've rarely been alone with my father-in-law," showing a hint of nervousness about spending time alone with him.
