Park Hae-soo delves into the truth behind a serial murder case in 'Scarecrow'. The show has been gaining momentum with ratings of 2.9% for episode 1, 4.1% for episode 2, and 5.0% for episode 3.

Ahead of the fourth episode airing on the 28th, ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' released stills featuring Detective Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo), Prosecutor Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-jun), Reporter Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young), and characters Lee Ki-beom (played by Song Geon-hee) and Kang Sun-young (played by Seo Ji-hye), who face a different kind of turmoil.

In the previous episodes, it was revealed through Kim Mi-yeon’s (played by Kim Gye-rim) testimony that there were five victims, not four, in the serial murder case. Kang Tae-joo, who was excluded from the investigation due to the Jeon Kyung-ho (played by Kang Jung-woo) assault case, requested a search for the missing person from Cha Si-young, offering his resignation as collateral. He was able to find the body of the third victim, Choi In-sook (played by Min Hye-soo), and return it to her mother (played by Mok Jung-yoon). Meanwhile, Kang Tae-joo encountered Kim Min-ji (played by Kim Hwan-hee) who pleaded, "Can't you stay as a cop? Just catch the culprit, mister." He was left speechless and later devastated by her death.

With the sixth victim of the Kangseong serial murder case emerging, the newly released photos hint at Kang Tae-joo's transformation and awakening. Having left the force, he returns, staring at the scarecrow drawing by Kim Min-ji. The fact that Kangseong Bookstore, where he briefly stopped to find art supplies on the day of the sixth incident, was Kim Min-ji's last known location draws attention.

Meanwhile, curiosity is piqued by Cha Si-young walking through the woods at night and Seo Ji-won being shocked by a single photo of the suspect. The true intentions of Cha Si-young, who stands on the line between ally and enemy with Kang Tae-joo, and the role of Seo Ji-won, more than just a friend, are eagerly anticipated.

Additionally, the tragic separation of Lee Ki-beom and Kang Sun-young, entangled with Jeon Kyung-ho, is foreshadowed. The released photos capture Lee Ki-beom's furious gaze as he grabs Jeon Kyung-ho by the collar, and Kang Sun-young's fearful and anxious expression as she attempts a nighttime escape with a bag as large as herself, heightening the tension.

The production team stated, "In today's (28th) broadcast of episode 4, Kang Tae-joo reaches out to Cha Si-young. As their precarious collaboration finally begins, Seo Ji-won discovers a crucial clue that sparks suspicion towards an unexpected individual."

Episode 4 of 'Scarecrow' airs tonight at 10 PM.
