Premiering on May 30th, JTBC's new weekend drama 'New Employee Chairman Kang' (Creator: Kim Soon-ok, Writer: Hyun Ji-min, Director: Go Hye-jin, Produced by SLL, Corpus Korea, Original Work: San Kyung) tells the story of Kang Yong-ho (played by Son Hyun-joo), the chairman of the prestigious conglomerate Choi Sung Group, who is known as the god of business and is forced to live a second life after an accident.

Lee Joo-myung plays Kang Bang-geul, the tragic youngest daughter of Chairman Kang Yong-ho, who has been kept hidden from the world. Fifteen years ago, she was sent abroad against her will due to her father's concerns about the position of his legitimate children. Although she pretends to be a troublemaker who only enjoys leisure, deep inside, Kang Bang-geul harbors ambitions to prove her abilities to her dismissive father.

While contemplating the perfect timing to achieve her goals, Kang Bang-geul secretly ends her overseas studies and joins Choi Sung Group as a new employee under the alias 'Casey Kang'. She aims to prove that she can rise to the top without any support from the Choi family.
