Jeon Somi Shares I.O.I Reunion Secrets and New Music Teasers on 'Radio Star'

Singer Jeon Somi is set to reveal behind-the-scenes stories of the I.O.I 10th anniversary reunion, tease her new music, and reminisce about her 'Produce 101' days.

On the upcoming episode of MBC's 'Radio Star' airing on the 29th, Jeon Somi will appear alongside Lee Jong-hyuk, Yoo Sun, and Lee Dae-hwi in a special titled 'Reunited People, It's Me, It's Me! Reunite to Shine!'.

Jeon Somi gained public attention as the center and youngest member of I.O.I after winning first place on 'Produce 101' in 2016. Following her activities with I.O.I, she has enjoyed success as a solo artist.

Jeon Somi will discuss the ongoing I.O.I 10th anniversary reunion project. She will share insights into the reunion process and the group's unchanged teamwork, revealing that their group chat is still active. She will also mention Chung Ha, who played a key role in the reunion, sparking interest.

Additionally, she will talk about completing the album jacket shoot and recording, eagerly awaiting her official comeback. She shares her routine of practicing 4-6 hours a day and candidly admits feeling the difference in stamina when meeting with the members after a long time.

Jeon Somi will also reveal a past episode from I.O.I days when they held monthly dorm meetings. She humorously recounts falling asleep during a meeting and getting scolded by Kim Sejeong. Known for her maximalist tendencies and love for unique items, she will share stories of buying 60-70 towels when she started living alone and collecting various items from abroad, showcasing her candid charm. She will also reveal a surprising behind-the-scenes story of appearing as a reenactment actor in 'Surprise' to promote her new song.

Moreover, she will share her recent experience of being cast as the lead in a Hollywood movie, which she filmed in Thailand after auditioning during her music show activities.
