Anticipation Builds for 'Miss Trot 4' Finale: Who Will Claim the Crown?

The stage is set for the grand finale of 'Miss Trot 4'.

The final episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 4' is scheduled to air on the 5th. In the semifinals, Heo Chan-mi emerged as the top contender.

Out of the 88 teams that entered with dreams of becoming the 21st-century Hwang Jini, only five trot queens have survived to the finals. The competition has intensified, shifting from a TOP7 to a TOP5 format, making it one of the most fiercely contested seasons yet. All eyes are on the TOP5 finalists—Gil Ryeo-won, Yoon Tae-hwa, Hong Sung-yoon, Lee So-na, and Heo Chan-mi—as they vie for the ultimate crown.

Ahead of the live finale, the 'Miss Trot 4' production team has revealed the evaluation criteria, drawing significant attention. The finale will be scored out of a total of 3000 points. Of these, 1600 points will be awarded by the judges, while the remaining 1400 points will be determined by the public. This includes 400 points from online public support votes collected between the semifinals and the finale, and 1000 points from real-time text voting.

According to the production team, the scores among the TOP5 are extremely close, suggesting that the real-time text voting could dramatically alter the final rankings.

Real-time text voting will commence during the live broadcast with a cue from host Kim Sung-joo. The voting numbers are as follows: 1 for Gil Ryeo-won, 2 for Yoon Tae-hwa, 3 for Hong Sung-yoon, 4 for Lee So-na, and 5 for Heo Chan-mi. While duplicate votes for a single contestant are not allowed, fans can vote for multiple contestants.

The 'Miss Trot 4' finale will be broadcast live at 9:30 PM.
