VERIVERY's Kangmin Shines in New Drama 'Jump Boy LIVE'

Kangmin, a member of the group VERIVERY that debuted in 2019, is expanding his potential and charm from the stage to the screen. Known for his striking looks since his debut, Kangmin is set to captivate audiences once again.

The premium short-form drama 'Jump Boy LIVE', set to release on the 27th, tells the story of an outsider at a science high school who dreams of becoming an influencer. He gains teleportation abilities by chance and transforms into a 'live hero'. Directed by Lee Jung-hoon, who gained recognition at the Cannes International Series Festival with 'The Hunter with a Scalpel', the drama stars Kangmin, drawing significant attention.

Kangmin has already made a mark with his stable live performances and energetic presence, notably through Mnet's 'Boys 2 Planet', which concluded last September. His solid skills and genuine performances have established him as a growing icon. In 'Jump Boy LIVE', Kangmin showcases a new side, making a vibrant leap into acting.

The trailer highlights Kangmin's appeal, portraying him as Ion, who gains superpowers from a meteorite and becomes a mega influencer. This transformation has heightened fans' anticipation.

Previously, Kangmin portrayed a dark character, Joo Sun-jae, in the web drama 'Just a Finger Flick Away', where he demonstrated his guitar skills and genius composing abilities. His performance captured the anxieties and excitement of youth, and his upcoming role as 'Hero Ion' is generating curiosity.
