On October 25th at 8 PM, TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life' will feature Shin Choong-sik, known for his role as 'Jong-gi's father' in the drama 'Country Diary,' sharing a touching glimpse into his twilight years with his wife.
Having recently recovered from health issues, Shin Choong-sik appears healthy and ready to capture family memories. He expressed, "It's the first time I'm taking a photo with just my wife," as he held her hand and exchanged loving glances, creating a heartwarming couple's photo.
The couple also took longevity photos. Shin explained, "They say taking longevity photos means you'll live longer," revealing the reason behind the shoot. Watching her husband, his wife remarked, "Even after all these years, he's still handsome," showcasing their unwavering affection after 57 years of marriage. Shin candidly shared, "When I'm gone, won't this photo be displayed at my funeral? Thinking about it feels strange," touching the hearts of viewers.
His wife's emotional response, "You've worked so hard all these years," added to the touching moment. In the studio, hosts Oh Ji-ho and comedian Lee Seong-mi were moved to tears, as was Shin once more.
Previously, Shin appeared on TV Chosun's 'Life Documentary My Way,' revealing, "I've had heart surgery 3-4 times, including stent procedures," and shared that he had to leave the 2007 drama 'Yi San' due to health issues.
In a 2022 appearance on 'Perfect Life,' he stated, "I signed a refusal for life-sustaining treatment a few years ago. When the end of life approaches, it's hard to let go due to attachment. If my life's end comes, disappearing is best for society, my children, and myself."
