Snowboarder Kim Sang-gyeom to Share Inspiring Journey on 'You Quiz on the Block'

South Korean snowboarder Kim Sang-gyeom, who secured the country's 400th medal, is set to appear on the popular TV show 'You Quiz on the Block'.

The 332nd episode of tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block', airing on the 25th, will feature Kim Sang-gyeom alongside other notable guests, including Dr. Jang Hyung-woo, who lost 38kg to overcome obesity, former 4Minute member Heo Ga-yoon, who found happiness in Bali, and Park Ji-hoon, known for his role in the movie 'The King and the Clown'.

Kim Sang-gyeom will share his inspiring story of perseverance, having won a silver medal after four attempts. His wife will also join him on the show, revealing behind-the-scenes stories, including a dream involving an unusual incident a month before the competition and a special strategy she devised to help him defeat world number one Roland. Despite being once hailed as South Korea's top prospect, Kim faced hardships after being dropped from the national team, even taking on manual labor jobs to pursue his dream.

The episode will also highlight the touching stories of Kim's family, including his father, who supported him while battling cancer and running a farm and ski rental shop, and his coach, who broke his savings to fund Kim's training. The couple's charming chemistry reportedly moved host Yoo Jae-suk to tears.
