In the 8th episode of tvN STORY's 'Lee Ho-sun Counseling Center,' airing on the 24th, the show delves into the intense 'family wars' where family members become shackles to each other. Professor Lee Ho-sun is set to sharply address the wounds of those who have fought more and shed more tears because they are family.

The episode begins with a story submitted by a mother-in-law about a naive newlywed couple. Despite being married for two years, the couple's lack of financial planning surprises the studio. The husband, who signed a contract for an $800,000 apartment without proper preparation, and his unrealistic plans cause a stir. However, the husband claims, "My wife is not telling the truth," asserting his innocence.

The episode continues with the story of in-laws who have been married for 48 years and are engaged in a suffocating 'silent war.' The patriarchal father-in-law, who believes "the husband is the sky and the wife is the earth," reveals his firm beliefs, marking this as one of the most intense stories in the counseling center's history. Professor Lee Ho-sun asks, "Is this really you, Father?" piercing through the core of the issue and leaving the room in silence. The mother-in-law, who has remained silent for over two months, and the father-in-law, who cannot understand her, are at the center of a deep conflict reported by their daughter-in-law. Viewers are keen to see what resolution Professor Lee will propose.

The production team stated, "As time goes by, family can feel like shackles. Families fight more fiercely and shed more tears than anyone else, which is the paradoxical reality of family."
