Unexpected Connection Between Actors Hong Jong-hyun and Seo Jang-hoon Revealed on 'My Little Old Boy'

Actor Hong Jong-hyun (36) and Seo Jang-hoon (51) have an unexpected connection that was recently unveiled.

On October 22, Hong Jong-hyun appeared as a special MC on the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (also known as 'My Ugly Duckling'). His warm-hearted nature was evident as he prepared thoughtful gifts for MCs Shin Dong-yup, Seo Jang-hoon, and the 'Movengers'. Hong Jong-hyun's friendly demeanor, as he made eye contact and greeted each cast member, further enlivened the atmosphere on set.

His delightful sense of humor shone through when he revealed that he once lived in the same apartment building as Seo Jang-hoon, surprising everyone.

Hong Jong-hyun shared, "I was startled to see such a tall person in the elevator. He seemed more surprised than I was." Seo Jang-hoon explained, "I thought no one was there, but when the door opened, someone was standing in front of me. It wasn't anything else that startled me." Hong Jong-hyun added, "He was so surprised that he even apologized." Shin Dong-yup humorously commented, "Jong-hyun handles it warmly. He doesn't mention who the woman next to him was, just the surprise," teasing the single Seo Jang-hoon and eliciting laughter.

Hong Jong-hyun also shared some of his unexpected quirks, revealing that he struggles with wearing shoes without socks and when plans go awry. Seo Jang-hoon challenged him with a difficult balance game, putting Hong Jong-hyun in a humorous dilemma as he struggled to make a decision.

As a special MC, Hong Jong-hyun excelled, attentively watching the VCRs and providing perfectly timed reactions, enriching the program. His seamless banter with the existing cast members added to the entertainment.
