Despite his flawless appearance and seemingly smooth career, Go Soo had his share of struggles during his early days. He recalls his desperate efforts to pursue acting, moving to Seoul and personally distributing his profile to casting directors. A humorous story from his rookie days involves his role in the play 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,' where he unexpectedly played the 'third dwarf' instead of the anticipated 'prince.' Adding to the humor, the coveted 'prince' role was played by fellow actor Park Hae-il.

Go Soo's career is marked by his portrayal of intense, unrequited love. From his breakout role in the drama 'Piano,' where he played a character in love with his stepsister, to his role in 'Love 911,' where he portrayed a husband who loses hope after his wife's death, Go Soo has a knack for depicting heart-wrenching romances. In his upcoming drama 'Reverse,' he is set to play a tragic lead character who falls in love with a woman who has lost her memory in an accident, heightening anticipation for his performance.

In personal news, Go Soo married Kim Hye-yeon, who is 11 years his junior, in 2012 after five years of dating.
