Popera Maestro Lim Hyung-joo Reveals His Unique Love for Awards on TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me Season 3'

Popera maestro Lim Hyung-joo, currently appearing on TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me Season 3,' is set to reveal the object of his affection, which he lovingly calls 'my baby.'

In the episode airing on the 18th, Lim Hyung-joo will unveil his 'award room,' filled with numerous accolades including the UN Peace Medal, commendations from the Presidents of the United States and South Korea, and the National Order of Merit. Known for achieving various 'youngest' and 'first' titles, Lim has received countless awards, which he cherishes dearly. He affectionately refers to his awards as 'babies,' considering them his girlfriend, wife, and children. In response, Jeon Hyun-moo humorously remarked, 'You're never getting married.'

Lim Hyung-joo shared, 'The award room is my entire career. Being in that room makes me realize how hard I've worked. It's like 'Oh! My love,' and just thinking about it makes me happy.' He also revealed his unique way of finding peace and relaxation in the award room. Upon seeing the numerous awards, Jeon Hyun-moo joked, 'You have many girlfriends,' to which Lim replied, 'I'm a playboy,' adding humor to the conversation. Hyun Joo-yeop also commented, 'Your mother must be worried.' Indeed, Lim's mother, Helen Kim, was shocked to hear her son refers to his awards as 'babies,' exclaiming, 'Who says that? That's scary. It's the first time I'm hearing this.' She expressed her growing concern, saying, 'It's getting scarier. What should I do?'

Lim revealed, 'My mother doesn't like the awards much. She once said she wanted to bulldoze the award room. That's why it's next to the garage.' Despite their differing opinions, Lim's dedication to maintaining the award room, even running a dehumidifier 24/7, led Jeon Hyun-moo to side with Helen Kim, saying, 'It's overwhelming.'
