Kim Bum Takes on New Role in Upcoming SBS Drama 'Sold Out Again Today'

Actor Kim Bum is set to captivate audiences in the upcoming SBS drama 'Sold Out Again Today' as he takes on the role of Eric Seo, the executive director of the global skincare brand, Letoile.

Premiering on the 22nd, 'Sold Out Again Today' is a new Wednesday-Thursday drama that follows the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail) and sell-out host Dam Yejin as they navigate a whirlwind romance filled with excitement and challenges.

Kim Bum's portrayal of Eric Seo is highly anticipated by fans eager to see him in a romantic comedy setting. Kim Bum shared his excitement, saying, "I've received numerous recommendations and encouragements to try the romantic comedy genre, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity with 'Sold Out Again Today.' Although it's my first attempt at this genre, I found it enjoyable and believe I can showcase a different side of myself."

Kim Bum highlighted the charm of his character, Eric Seo, as his honesty. "When I read the script, I was drawn to Eric's straightforwardness and his ability to be considerate of others, rather than being immature or selfish. I wanted to explore and express the multifaceted nature of Eric as an actor," he expressed.

The drama teases Eric Seo's direct approach in pursuing his business partner and love interest, Dam Yejin, played by Chae Won-bin. Having grown up under the watchful eyes of his family, Eric's character is expected to evolve into a more independent individual after meeting Dam Yejin. Kim Bum explained, "This transformation is driven by Dam Yejin, so I focused on prioritizing the other person's feelings over my own. Eric's unique ability to convey his emotions clearly without causing discomfort or pressure is his secret weapon."
