Sung Si-kyung's Mother Makes First TV Appearance, Shares Heartwarming Memories
On the January 14th broadcast of SBS's 'Seol Special Concert Sung Si-kyung,' the TV version of the 'Concert Sung Si-kyung' held from December 25th to 28th last year was aired.
The broadcast featured various celebrities close to Sung Si-kyung, including Yoo Jae-suk, singer Park Jin-young, IU, music critic Lim Jin-mo, Yoon Jong-shin, Park Kyung-lim, and Choi Hwa-jung.
Particularly, Sung Si-kyung's mother caught the audience's attention with her appearance. She reminisced about Sung Si-kyung, saying, "He was very weak until he was about one and a half years old." She continued, "I found a baby ginseng, crushed it, and fed it to him, and he became healthy. He grew up well without any issues."
His mother, who never imagined her son would become a singer, recalled, "When he started to speak, he sang 'Woman Outside the Window.' He would sing while looking at a toy microphone, and he imitated so well." She added, "When he debuted in 2000 with 'The Road to Me,' the whole family was in an uproar. His grandfather, grandmother, and aunts were all excited."
