SHINee's Minho and His Father Share Heartfelt Moments on 'I Live Alone'
On the October 3rd episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone', 'Flaming Charisma' Minho was seen supporting his father, a K-League soccer coach, while 'Baby Beast' Chef Kim Si-hyun learned 'herb cooking' from his culinary mentor in Tongyeong.
SHINee's Minho visited the soccer field to cheer for his father, Choi Yoon-kyum, the coach of the K-League team 'Yongin FC'. Everyone was surprised by the 'flaming charisma' his father exuded during training. Park Ji-hyun admired, "Father feels like a volcano." Minho prepared a coffee truck and fruit gifts for the players and his father, who smiled warmly at his son's surprise.
The 'flaming duo' shared a love as intense as their competitiveness. Minho gifted his father a sun stick, and his father proudly boasted about his dependable son at a local shop, bringing smiles. During dinner, their conversation revealed their deep affection for each other. Coach Choi expressed, "You said you wanted to have a positive influence through sports. I don't often say it, but I'm grateful and proud. You're the pride of our family, and hearing 'You raised him well' makes me happiest."
Minho confessed, "When asked who I want to be like, I always say my father. He praises me when I do well and scolds me when I fall short, helping me grow well. I still want to be his biggest fan and a dependable son." Jeon Hyun-moo expressed envy, saying, "I want a son like Minho," showing admiration for the 'flaming duo.'
However, the mood shifted when the Rainbow members began a realistic 'parental allowance' discussion. Park Ji-hyun revealed, "My mom just wants cash. She doesn't need anything else, just money."
Kian84 shared his strategy, "You have to keep saying 'I'm struggling' and 'Where do I have money?'" Jeon Hyun-moo was shocked, exclaiming, "Don't call me unfilial. I was really surprised. This is how others see me," drawing a line. Minho also remarked, "This unfilial competition isn't easy," shaking his head.
