Korean Rapper Nucksal Dreams of Retirement Amidst Fatherhood and Entertainment Ventures

Korean rapper Nucksal, who married a non-celebrity six years his junior in 2022, has shared his transformed life as he juggles fatherhood and entertainment activities, revealing his dreams of retirement.

On the upcoming November 11th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' Nucksal will appear alongside Lee Dong-jin, Ahn Hyun-mo, and Gwaydo in a special titled 'Too Much TALK GPT.'

During the show, Nucksal confesses, “I haven't been able to work on an album for years,” as he prioritizes parenting over music. He humorously admits to experiencing cognitive dissonance about his marriage, stating, “Am I really married?” and shares his constant dream of retirement. The conversation turns to a realistic discussion about the funds needed for retirement, resonating with many.

Nucksal also shares his dream akin to the movie 'The Greatest Showman,' expressing his desire to become a director and recruit members to create a show through YouTube. His imaginative leap from rapper to entertainer to 'showman' fills the studio with laughter.

The parenting talk is as real as it gets. Nucksal reveals his drastically changed lifestyle while raising his two sons, aged three years and four months. He admits both he and his wife are sleep-deprived, living “like zombies,” and naturally showcases his 'doting dad' side by comparing his two sons with contrasting personalities. Nucksal also mentions his special connection with actor Park Jung-min, revealing that Park used him as a muse while preparing for a film that required rapping. He recounts their meeting and impresses with a live rap demonstration, showcasing his 'rapper at heart' moment.
