Actor No Min-woo Brings Joy with Haircuts and Helping Hands Ahead of Lunar New Year

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the popular segment 'Bungbungi Goes' on the show <6 O'Clock My Hometown> is set to deliver its second special service.

On the episode airing on the 9th, actor No Min-woo, alongside youth leader Son Heon-soo, visits the village of Joeup 1-ri in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, to provide haircuts and help with chores for the elderly. The Icheon Volunteer Center's Triple Volunteer Group also joins in, adding more energy to the 'Bungbungi Hair Salon.'

With a variety of snacks prepared to welcome the elders, the first guest, a village chief with thinning hair, creates a moment of tension. However, Son Heon-soo's neat touch transforms him successfully, warming up the atmosphere. More guests with touching stories follow, including a family caring for a mother with dementia and a sick sister, and a visually impaired husband with his supportive wife. Particularly challenging is an elder with very little hair, but No Min-woo's 'golden hands' craft a voluminous style, earning admiration from all.

No Min-woo captivates the elders not only with his excellent hairstyling skills but also with refreshing scalp massages. His popularity soars among the elders, who say, “It feels refreshing only when Min-woo does it.” Son Heon-soo also contributes by preparing snacks and offering manicure services, using his unique charm to lead the atmosphere. During the event, an elder who just finished dyeing her hair asks for help with cutting pepper strings, prompting the duo to head to the pepper field.

Without time to be surprised by the vast field, Son Heon-soo skillfully cuts the pepper strings with a sickle, while No Min-woo organizes the strings, lending a helping hand. When Son Heon-soo exclaims, “The bride is so lovely!” No Min-woo playfully transforms into 'bride mode,' flipping his neatly tied hair, bringing laughter to the scene. From Asia's Prince to a princess, and now a diligent bride, No Min-woo's endless transformations bring him closer to the elders.
