Girls' Day Yura Brings Quirky Charm to 'Modern Figures: Mr. Lee' on TV CHOSUN

Girls' Day member Yura is set to charm audiences with her quirky and lively persona as she joins TV CHOSUN's 'Modern Figures: Mr. Lee.' The show will feature intriguing stories, including one about Lee Myung-hee, the chairwoman of Shinsegae Group, inheriting a department store from her father, the founder.

The revamped 'Modern Figures: Mr. Lee' will air on the 8th at 9 PM. The premiere episode will delve into the secretive history of department stores, which have been more than just 'consumer spaces' over the past century, becoming focal points of modern history's 'desires.' The episode will feature insights from chaebol expert Hong Sung-chu.

The show will explore various stories, from the behind-the-scenes of Korea's first department store in the 1930s to the shock experienced by the common people at the time. A particularly eerie tale about a 'goblin' appearing in a department store will add to the intrigue.

The episode will also reveal 'truths people want to know' about department store VIPs. When expert panelists question MC Lee Kyung-kyu and Yura about whether they are actual department store VIPs and what kind of treatment they receive, Lee Kyung-kyu shakes his head, saying, "I'm definitely not a VIP, but they do valet my car," adding to the curiosity.

Representing the 'MZ generation,' Yura shares, "I'm a game enthusiast, so I often visit department stores for pop-up stores... but honestly, I go there to eat," showcasing her lovable and quirky charm. When recounting the story of the late Samsung founder Lee Byung-chul passing a department store to his cherished daughter, Lee Myung-hee, Yura humorously mimics a regional dialect, saying, "Father, I can't do it," adding a lively touch to the atmosphere.
