Jeon Hyun-moo and Han Hye-jin Share Frustrations Over Parents' Hoarding Habits

Jeon Hyun-moo, 48, expressed his frustration over his parents' habits, echoing Han Hye-jin's sentiments.

On the October 4th episode of TV CHOSUN's variety show 'Dad and Me Season 3,' the daily life of Jeon Soo-kyung and her father was featured.

During the episode, Jeon Soo-kyung visited her father's home, where she found boxes and plastic bags piled up, prompting her to nag him. Her 97-year-old father defended himself, saying, "It's a waste. In our time, even if something got on a piece of paper, we would wipe it off and reuse it. Being frugal is a way of life."

Jeon Soo-kyung confessed, "Around my father's birthday last year, I decided not to nag him anymore. I wanted to respect his way of life, but when I visit, I can't help but nag."

Watching the VCR, Han Hye-jin also related, saying, "I try not to nag, but when I meet them, I end up doing it. They say, 'Hoarding leads to waste.'"

Jeon Hyun-moo agreed with Han Hye-jin, sharing his own frustrations. He said, "I've seen things go to waste. When I buy expensive luxury cosmetics, they don't use them until they expire. When I try to throw them away, they tell me not to, saying they'll use them on their feet. It's exhausting. Why use something so expensive on your feet?"

He continued, "I tried giving cash instead of gifts because they wouldn't use them and let them spoil. Later, when I opened a drawer at my parents' house, I found old bundles of cash. When I asked about it, they acted like they didn't know. They saved it and never touched it."
