Dramatic Twist in 'Beloved Bandit': Soul Swap Between Nam Ji-hyun and Moon Sang-min Intensifies
The fate of Nam Ji-hyun and Moon Sang-min takes another dramatic turn as their souls swap once more, intensifying the whirlwind of destiny surrounding them.

In the 10th episode of KBS2's weekend mini-series 'Beloved Bandit,' aired on the 1st, viewers witnessed the tragic fate of Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun) who spirals out of control after losing her father, Hong Min-jik (played by Kim Seok-hoon), and Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang-min) who strives to protect his loved ones. The episode recorded a viewership rating of 7%, with the scene where Lee Yeol confronts King Lee Gyu at the interrogation chamber peaking at 7.6%.

Devastated by her father's sudden death, Hong Eun-jo is consumed by rage upon hearing that the arrow found in Hong Min-jik's back belonged to King Lee Gyu (played by Ha Seok-jin). In her fury, she shoots the arrow at King Lee Gyu.

Meanwhile, Lee Yeol, upon hearing of Hong Min-jik's passing, searches for Hong Eun-jo out of concern, only to find her missing. Learning from Im Jae-yi (played by Hong Min-ki) that the arrow from Lee Gyu's room is gone, Lee Yeol rushes to Lee Gyu and takes the arrow meant for him.

Thanks to Lee Yeol's intervention, Lee Gyu survives, but the royal guards begin to suspect Hong Eun-jo and her family. As soon as he recovers, Lee Yeol teams up with Im Jae-yi to clear Hong Eun-jo and her family from suspicion, successfully averting the crisis.

Particularly, Hong Eun-jo is tormented by guilt upon learning that Lee Yeol took the arrow meant for Lee Gyu. She feels remorse for using the martial arts her father taught her to protect people, to harm someone, and for causing Lee Yeol's injury.

Feeling for Hong Eun-jo, Lee Yeol places her hand on his heart, saying, "See, it's beating." Touched by the heartbeat she feels, Hong Eun-jo sheds tears, and Lee Yeol's tender comfort moves viewers.

Meanwhile, mysterious figures appear before Hong Eun-jo after her father's death. They, like Hong Eun-jo, have lost loved ones to King Lee Gyu and are aware of her identity as 'Gil-dong.' They harbor a grand plan to change the throne's occupant, suggesting that Gil-dong's name will be used to represent the oppressed and impoverished people, leaving Hong Eun-jo in deep thought.

As this unfolds, another crisis looms for Hong Eun-jo's family when Lee Gyu, who had fainted after the incident, regains consciousness. He suspects Hong Min-jik's son, Hong Dae-il (played by Song Ji-ho), of shooting the arrow and drags him to the interrogation chamber. Upon hearing the news, Lee Yeol rushes to confront King Lee Gyu, creating a tense standoff as Lee Gyu points a sword at Lee Yeol's neck.

At that moment, an unexpected event occurs as Hong Eun-jo and Lee Yeol's souls swap once more. With Hong Eun-jo's soul in Lee Yeol's body, she faces her father's enemy, Lee Gyu, with a chilling resolve. The audience is left wondering what actions Hong Eun-jo will take in Lee Yeol's body and what the future holds for them as they are caught in the whirlwind of fate.

The aftermath of Nam Ji-hyun and Moon Sang-min's second soul swap will be revealed in the 11th episode of 'Beloved Bandit,' airing on the 7th at 9:20 PM.
