Actor Kwak Dong-yeon Shares Experience Working with Park Bo-gum on 'Bogum Magical'

Kwak Dong-yeon, born in 1997, recently shared his thoughts on working alongside Park Bo-gum, capturing the attention of many.

On the 29th, the production presentation for the tvN variety show 'Bogum Magical' was held online. Attendees included Park Bo-gum, Lee Sang-yi, Kwak Dong-yeon, and PD Son Soo-jung.

'Bogum Magical' features a magical story set in a rural village, centered around Park Bo-gum, who holds a national barber license. Park takes on the main role of 'hair', Lee Sang-yi handles 'nail care and customer service', and Kwak Dong-yeon is responsible for 'cooking', providing strong support. The team participated in everything from selecting the location to remodeling over the course of about a year, showing exceptional dedication to the program.

In 'Bogum Magical', Kwak Dong-yeon is in charge of preparing meals for the three and refreshments for guests. He shared, "I joined this project immediately after returning from overseas work, and the two were already preparing for their licenses. I was quite taken aback." He added, "I decided to give my best effort, thinking I should contribute physically among the older brothers."

Regarding Park Bo-gum, Kwak expressed, "His sincerity and depth in dealing with customers made me think it would be better to meet him as a guest rather than a colleague." He continued, "If I were a guest, I would have been truly grateful. Watching him put his heart into everything gave me a lot of energy and taught me a lot."

When jokingly asked if there were any hardships as a colleague, he laughed and replied, "The food is getting cold," and warmly concluded about Park Bo-gum, "His determination to not miss a single strand of hair was befitting of a head director."

'Bogum Magical' is set to premiere on the 30th at 8:40 PM.
