Hyun Joo-yeop's son, Hyun Jun-hee, has revealed his trauma from being admitted to a psychiatric ward.

On the October 28th episode of TV Chosun's variety show 'Dad and Me,' Hyun Joo-yeop, who previously disclosed that his family was undergoing psychiatric treatment due to allegations of abuse of power and negligence, was shown having conflicts with his son, Jun-hee.

During the episode, Hyun Joo-yeop visited a psychiatrist with his eldest son, Jun-hee. However, Jun-hee expressed his aversion to the hospital and appeared anxious, refusing to participate in the counseling session.

Jun-hee shared, "To me, a psychiatric hospital feels like a cage. While no one can touch me, my freedom is not guaranteed." He continued, "Out of four admissions, I went to a closed ward three times. Electronic devices, except for MP3 players without recording functions, are prohibited, and many things are not allowed, including dolls. It's a ward where you're cut off from the outside world. Even if I want to go out, I can't," revealing his fear of the hospital.

Ultimately, Jun-hee confessed to Hyun Joo-yeop about the scars from his time in the closed ward. He said, "There were times when I was told we were just going to get medication, but I ended up being admitted, which was shocking. I sometimes cry out of frustration or sadness. When I go to the hospital, the feelings from when I was admitted come back, making me uncomfortable."

In response, Hyun Joo-yeop explained, "I didn't lie to Jun-hee. There were times during counseling when Jun-hee's situation was severe. It was recommended that admission would be better than counseling therapy. I wasn't trying to deceive my son."

Currently on a leave of absence from school, Jun-hee said, "School feels like a second psychiatric ward. I don't have many good memories." He added, "There were conflicts in the basketball team. Because of the allegations against Hyun Joo-yeop, it was on TV, and it was stressful. Friends bullied me."
