Comedian Hong Yoon-hwa Opens Up About Weight Gain on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'

On the recent episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny', comedian and YouTuber Kim Ji-yoo joined as a special MC, where Hong Yoon-hwa shared updates on her post-diet life.

During the show, Kim Ji-yoo expressed confidence in flirting but admitted, "I have no eye for men. My ideal type is senior Kim Ki-ri, but looking back at my dating history, that's not the case."

Kim Ji-yoo, who prefers 'handsome younger men', revealed, "I dated younger men, but strangely, things would go well until suddenly they faced hardships or emotional pain, and eventually, I found myself opening my wallet."

Kim Ji-yoo stated, "I aspire to get married and have a family. Watching the Hong Yoon-hwa and Kim Min-ki couple, I realized 'this is true love.' When I visited Hong Yoon-hwa's store in Hongdae, even when it was busy, Min-ki looked at Yoon-hwa cooking with such love, like watching a baby. It was genuine love," she expressed with envy. Kim Gura added humor by saying, "When I went to Hongdae, Min-ki seemed out of it."

Meanwhile, Hong Yoon-hwa confessed to experiencing weight gain after her '40kg weight loss' success. Kim Sook questioned, "Two weeks ago, there was a clear weight difference with Shingiru, but today it's similar. Did you gain weight again?"

Hong Yoon-hwa explained, "It's not weight, it's swelling. I actually gained 2kg back. It's not much," but Shingiru humorously pointed out, "2kg a week, that's 8kg a month," bringing laughter.

While cooking with a 9.55 million won gold bracelet gifted by her husband, Hong Yoon-hwa boasted, "A spoon fits in. It's roomy." Kim Min-ki humorously worried, "The bracelet seems a bit tight," causing more laughter.
