Jung Woo-sung's Agency Denies Viral Marketing Allegations Amid Praise for His Performance
Amidst allegations that the praise for actor Jung Woo-sung's performance is a result of viral marketing, his agency has firmly denied the claims.

On the 14th, Jung Woo-sung's agency, Artist Company, told TenAsia, "There is no truth to these allegations."

Recently, online communities and forums have been buzzing with posts praising Jung Woo-sung's performance in the Disney+ original series 'Made in Korea.' In the series, Jung portrays a tenacious prosecutor, Jang Geon-young. His exaggerated gestures and awkward laughter have led to mixed reviews from viewers. Some viewers felt his performance was "overdone," while others believed it was an "intentional expression."

Amidst these divided opinions, posts solely praising or defending Jung Woo-sung's performance have sparked viral marketing allegations. The similarity in the format, wording, and timing of these posts has fueled these suspicions.

Despite the growing speculation, the agency has firmly stated that the allegations are "groundless."

'Made in Korea' tells the story of Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), who aims to reach the pinnacle of wealth and power by using the nation as a profit model in the 1970s, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), who relentlessly pursues him to the brink. The final episode of Season 1 is set to release today (14th).

Jung Woo-sung has surprised the public over the past two years with personal life revelations. He was revealed to be the biological father of Moon Ga-bi's son, and last year, he registered his marriage with a non-celebrity partner, becoming a legally married couple.
