Singer Shin Jung-hwan has paid tribute to the late actor Ahn Sung-ki.

On the 5th, Shin Jung-hwan shared on his social media account, "I happened to switch channels and came across a dubbed black-and-white film featuring Ahn Sung-ki in his 20s. Watching his performance, I was captivated until the end. Despite the likely limited filming equipment, the cinematography and the actors' performances left a deep impression and enjoyment. I remember searching for the film's title and looking up the production team. His unique acting and voice... A true national actor with the gentle and handsome face of an uncle or father. May he watch over us with that serene smile from the heavens... Rest in peace #TheDwarfWhoShotTheSmallBalloon," expressing his condolences.
