Kim Min-jong Reveals Dating Struggles Due to Rumor Spread by Seo Jang-hoon

Kim Min-jong (53) has opened up about how a rumor spread by Seo Jang-hoon has hindered his dating life.

On the October 3rd episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star', episode 943, Kim Min-jong appeared as a guest alongside Ye Ji-won, Kim Ji-yoo, and Malwang.

During the show, Kim Min-jong revealed that he has been having three-hour-long video calls with a friend, who turned out to be Shin Seung-hun. Kim shared, "During the COVID-19 pandemic, we would have phone calls and drink alone together. The next day, I realized we had talked for three hours," adding, "It was so fun that I lost track of time." When asked if there was a woman he video calls with, he replied, "No."

When questioned about his ideal type, Kim Min-jong requested, "I'm grateful, but please just ignore it." He then revealed, "Previously on 'Radio Star', Seo Jang-hoon suddenly said, 'Min-jong hyung likes glamorous women.' Because of that statement, my dating life ended."

Kim Min-jong recounted an incident from the past when he and Seo Jang-hoon were on the variety show 'Four Sons and One Daughter'. "Seo Jang-hoon offered to introduce me to someone and showed me a photo. I commented, 'She seems a bit thin?' and he immediately labeled me as someone who likes glamorous women. I denied it, but he repeated it on 'Radio Star'. As a result, I became known as someone who likes younger, glamorous women, and I haven't been able to date anyone since," he explained.
