April Fools' Special on 'Gag Concert' Delivers Fresh Laughter with Role Swaps and Collaborations
On the April 5th broadcast of KBS2's 'Gag Concert', the show featured an April Fools' special. The episode included a collaboration between '10 Billion Button' and 'I Live Alone', and role swaps in various segments like 'Angry People' caught the viewers' attention.
In the 'I Live Alone Survival Button' segment, a collaboration between '10 Billion Button' and 'I Live Alone' took place. Kim Yeowoon appeared as the Grim Reaper, offering a survival button to Lee Jungsoo, who had been shot. Kim proposed that if Lee passed the game, he would be spared.
The first game was a quiz about famous figures. Lee Jungsoo correctly answered Son Heung-min, IU, and aespa, but failed to identify the 'Gag Concert' PD in the final question, eliciting laughter. Given another chance, Lee guessed Michael Jordan after seeing a shadow performing Jordan's signature move. However, it turned out to be a photo of the 'Gag Concert' PD holding a basketball and jumping, causing an uproar of laughter.
In the final stage, 'I Live Alone' members Oh Jungyul and Yoon Jaewoong appeared. The 'Grim Reaper' Oh Youngjin stated that the nickname of the survivor among the three was 'Avengers', prompting Lee Jungsoo, Oh Jungyul, and Yoon Jaewoong to transform into heroes. Notably, Oh Jungyul used a fan to portray Captain America, while Yoon Jaewoong embodied Iron Man with his whole body, drawing attention.
In 'Angry People', the role of the troublesome customer was played by Kim Jingon instead of Shin Yoonseung, who appeared as an information desk employee. As Kim continued his troublesome antics, Shin announced over the PA system, "We are looking for a lost child in front of the Viking ride. Name: Kim Jingon, Age: 42." When Kim looked flustered, Shin added humor by saying, "Why are you getting lost at that age?"
Shin continued with announcements like "Kim Jingon who wet himself on the Viking ride" and "Kim Jingon protected in the children's zone", causing bursts of laughter. When Kim asked, "Is this why you wanted to swap roles?", Shin replied, "It's relieving my stress," which further amused the audience.
