Shim Kwon-ho, the 53-year-old former wrestling champion, is set to make a surprising appearance with a dramatically changed look.

In a preview clip for TV CHOSUN's 'Joseon's Love', airing on the 6th, Shim, who recently shocked everyone with a sudden early-stage liver cancer diagnosis, is seen at a hair salon. Upon seeing his updated appearance through the VCR, actress Hwang Bo-ra exclaimed, "His face looks so much better. Even just looking at his jawline, his skin tone has changed. What happened?" expressing her surprise at his transformation.

Kang Soo-ji also agreed, saying, "He looks like a different person." However, the footage only showed Shim's jawline as he was getting his hair done, leaving most of his face obscured. This led Choi Sung-kook to question, "Can women really tell just from that much?"

The female MCs began passionately discussing Shim's improved complexion. Yet, Choi Sung-kook remained skeptical, saying, "But we've only seen his jaw so far." Kim Gook-jin also expressed confusion, asking, "His face is covered, and you're saying it looks better?" Hwang Bo-ra confidently countered, "You can tell just from the neck," insisting that Shim's color had returned.

Meanwhile, Shim, who has regained his vitality, teased, "Today, I'm going to Jeju Island for some healing. I'm meeting someone," sparking curiosity with his cryptic comment. Who is the 'mysterious giant' Shim meets in Jeju? Shim's rejuvenating journey to Jeju, along with his return to health, will be revealed on TV CHOSUN's reality documentary show 'Joseon's Love' at 10 PM on the 6th.

Shim Kwon-ho won a gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He made history by achieving a grand slam in two weight classes, 48kg and 52kg, at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, becoming the first in the world to do so.
