Actress Jeon So-ni Opens Up About Her True Personality
On October 10, an interview was conducted with Jeon So-ni at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, regarding her role in the Netflix series 'You Killed Me.' The series tells the story of two women who, faced with a life-or-death situation, decide to commit murder and become entangled in unexpected events. Jeon So-ni plays Jo Eun-soo, a character who fights to save her only best friend, Jo Hee-soo, played by Lee Yoo-mi.
During the interview, Jeon So-ni discussed how her real personality differs from that of her character, Eun-soo. She confessed, "When something unfair happens, I just get flustered and it ends unfairly. I can't come up with a response immediately, and only think of what to say after the fact."
She added, "The characters I've played so far are the complete opposite of me. I think I want to express what I can't do in real life through my lines." In the series, Eun-soo is portrayed as someone who stands up and fights for Hee-soo.
When asked to address the abusers depicted in the series, which deals with domestic violence, she firmly stated, "I don't want to say anything. I just wish they could experience it themselves once. Would saying anything really make a difference?"
