Dramatic Twists in 'Dr. Shin': Unrequited Love, Betrayal, and Unexpected Proposals

A whirlwind of unrequited love, betrayal, and unexpected proposals has captivated audiences in the latest episode of TV Chosun's 'Dr. Shin' (directed by Lee Seung-hoon, written by Phoebe, Im Sung-han).

In the episode aired on the 11th at 10:30 PM, viewers witnessed the intense unrequited love of Geum Bara (played by Joo Se-bin) for Ha Yong-jung (played by Ahn Woo-yeon), the manipulative schemes of Momo (played by Baek Se-ra, Kim Jin-joo's brain, Cheon Young-min), and an unexpected proposal from Shin Ju-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) to Geum Bara.

During the episode, Geum Bara, who visited the beach with Ha Yong-jung, was heartbroken by his insistence on seeing her only as a sister. Despite Ha Yong-jung's comforting words, "There is no brother like me in the world," while holding her hand during a sand bath, Geum Bara was left in despair, longing for a romantic relationship. She silently wished to never wake up, expressing her extreme sorrow over not being seen as a woman by Ha Yong-jung.

Seizing the opportunity, Momo provoked Geum Bara's jealousy and cunningly approached Ha Yong-jung. Having taken over another's life through a brain change surgery, Momo revealed the violence she suffered from Shin Ju-shin and pleaded with Ha Yong-jung to become her surrogate brother.

Momo accused Shin Ju-shin of blaming her for a miscarriage and slapping her, claiming it as dating violence, and ultimately announced her breakup with him. Geum Bara reported the breakup as an exclusive article, which inadvertently drew Ha Yong-jung closer to Momo. James (played by Jeon No-min) confronted Ha Yong-jung, using Momo's past and pregnancy as leverage, creating tension between the brothers.

Meanwhile, Shin Ju-shin, furious at Momo's indifferent attitude despite losing their child, lashed out, "I turned something less than a creature into Cinderella, and she couldn't even hold it together." As his relationship with Momo reached an irreparable end, Shin Ju-shin's attention unexpectedly turned to Geum Bara. Having shared two meals with her, he felt a strange attraction and sought another meeting to confirm his feelings.

In the preview at the end of the episode, Shin Ju-shin is seen making a bold proposal to Geum Bara, who visits him with her dog, saying, "Let's live together in this house, raising all the dogs you want." He formally proposed, stating, "It's cliché, but I'm proposing," hinting at a significant turning point in Geum Bara's life, who had lost her will to live due to her unrequited love for Ha Yong-jung.
