Actor Kang Ha-neul has addressed rumors of being isolated during the filming of 'Squid Game.'

On the October 15th episode of MBC's variety show 'Radio Star,' which featured a 'Box Office Lupin' special, actors Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Kang Young-seok, and Kang Ji-young appeared as guests.

During the show, Kang Ha-neul responded to claims of being isolated during the filming of 'Squid Game' seasons 2 and 3 by saying, "That's not true. I was filming 'Squid Game' alongside 'Yadang.' There's a 12-hour filming law. We would start in the morning and finish after 12 hours on set, around 6 or 7 PM. 'Yadang' had night scenes, so we would film for another 12 hours at night and continue the next day. It wasn't every day, but it happened two or three times a week. 'Squid Game' was filmed in Daejeon, and I would sleep for two hours on the way there before starting the shoot."

He continued, "They told me I might not be needed for today's scene, but asked me to stay just in case. The accommodation had a lot of beds. I found a hidden bed below and fell asleep. The 'Squid Game' set is highly secure, even managers can't enter. When I woke up, I thought something was wrong with my vision because I couldn't see anything." It turned out it was lunchtime, and the lights were off as the crew and cast had left.

When asked if he was neglected, Kang replied, "There's no reason to take care of me," to which the hosts jokingly said, "You were severely isolated," eliciting laughter. Kang explained, "I was just really good at hiding and sleeping."
