Eun Ji-won Mentions Lee Soo-geun's Past Gambling Controversy on YouTube Show

Singer Eun Ji-won brought up Lee Soo-geun's past illegal gambling controversy.

On the 13th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung Shin Dong-yup' featured Lee Soo-geun and Eun Ji-won as guests.

During the show, Shin Dong-yup commented, "Kang Ho-dong and Lee Soo-geun are good at moderating their drinking. They go home right after drinking." Eun Ji-won then remarked, "Does he really moderate? Maybe just with alcohol. He doesn't seem to moderate his betting."

Lee Soo-geun responded, "I have a lot to say to Tak Jae-hoon. I should have appeared on his YouTube channel, but I was worried it might lead to a fight." He continued, "There's a billiard hall named 'Toto Billiard Hall' nearby. But we're different from that. I have a lot to discuss with Jae-hoon hyung."

In 2013, Lee Soo-geun was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for one year, for gambling millions on an illegal sports betting site. Tak Jae-hoon and Tony An were also involved in the gambling scandal. After a period of self-reflection, Lee Soo-geun returned to television in 2015 with the show 'Knowing Bros.'

Shin Dong-yup recalled, "I called him out on it. Even if he didn't harm others, he should have enjoyed within the legal boundaries. It was wrong. I saw on TV that Lee Soo-geun bowed 90 degrees in apology in front of reporters, while Tak Jae-hoon remained stiff."

Lee Soo-geun stated, "Even after 10 years, I constantly reflect on my mistakes and strive to live sincerely, aiming to bring laughter." He added, "After the incident, Jae-hoon hyung called and said, 'You should have moderated, what about me?' On the final sentencing day, Jae-hoon hyung came with five managers and bowed 90 degrees as if attending a funeral."
