Controversy Surrounds Bae Jin-young and Miyeon's Dating Show Teaser

Bae Jin-young, born in 2000, and Miyeon from i-dle, born in 1997, were seen enjoying a romantic date in a new variety show. However, the teaser video faced immediate backlash from fans and was made private less than a day after its release.

The video, released on the YouTube channel 'TRIP KODE' on the 9th, featured a romantic soundtrack with captions like "Traveling with a stranger" and "I'm curious." Although their faces were not shown, fans quickly identified the stars as Miyeon and Bae Jin-young.

In the video, Bae Jin-young remarked, "I never imagined this side of you," while Miyeon commented, "It's really exciting." The two continued their date by playing a claw machine game, with Bae Jin-young expressing, "This is so much fun."

As the scene shifted, Bae Jin-young noted, "You're so innocent," and mentioned the goal of raising each other's heart rates during the date. Miyeon responded with a laugh, "I really want to win."

Bae Jin-young commented, "I feel like my heart rate is going to explode," as the two appeared sharing an umbrella. The teaser concluded with a promise of the full episode release on Thursday, the 16th, at 6:30 PM.

Despite the anticipation, fans reacted negatively, saying, "This isn't heart-fluttering, it's heart attack-inducing," "There's no demand for this," and "Is this the revival of 'We Got Married'? Who is this content for?" Following the criticism, the teaser was made private, but the full episode is still set to air as scheduled on the 16th at 6:30 PM.
