Shocking Drug-Influenced Crash on Seoul's Banpo Bridge Featured on 'Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review'
The episode airing on the 1st of the month on JTBC's 'Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review' delves into the shocking crash that occurred on Seoul's Banpo Bridge.
The released footage shows a horrifying scene where an SUV suddenly crashes through the guardrail of an elevated road, plummeting onto a car below on Gangbyeonbuk-ro, and then rolling down to the banks of the Han River. The accident resulted in injuries to both the driver of the offending vehicle and the driver of the victim's vehicle, with four cars damaged. The discovery of a large quantity of drugs inside the offending vehicle adds to the shock.
The studio is filled with outrage upon learning that the cause of the accident was not just alcohol but drug-influenced driving. The driver of the offending vehicle is currently detained on charges of drug-influenced driving and causing injury through dangerous driving. Despite the 15-story fall, the absence of fatalities is seen as miraculous. Lee Soo-geun laments, "The drugs themselves are illegal, and yet they drove under the influence?" Attorney Han Moon-chul emphasizes, "This could have been a fatal accident," and stresses the urgent need for stricter legal penalties for drug-influenced driving, a growing social issue.
Meanwhile, the episode also features SF9's member Chani, celebrating his 10th debut anniversary. Chani showcases his main dancer prowess with a 'Love Race' performance and engages in a fierce dance battle with Jonathan, heating up the atmosphere.
'Han Moon-chul's Black Box Review' airs at 8:50 PM.
