Actresses Song Ji-hyo, Lee Mi-sook, and Han Ga-in are set to appear on Coupang Play's comedy show 'SNL Korea' Season 8.
The Coupang Play comedy show is Korea's top comedy program, known for its bold and daring humor featuring top-tier stars and a reliable crew, consistently topping the charts with each episode.
Season 8, which opened with host Tak Jae-hoon and his remarkable performance, promises an extraordinary dopamine party by confirming Song Ji-hyo, Lee Mi-sook, and Han Ga-in as hosts. These actresses are known for breaking the elegant actress stereotype with their relatable and charming personalities.

The third episode, airing on April 11, will feature Song Ji-hyo, known for her 'honest charm.' With 17 years of experience on the popular variety show 'Running Man,' she will finally bring her skills to the unrestricted stage of 'SNL Korea.' Song Ji-hyo expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m nervous about hosting, but I’ll bring out my comedic instincts to make everyone laugh.”
Previously, Song Ji-hyo faced criticism on 'Running Man' for her lack of presence and participation, leading to calls for her departure from the show.

Episode 4 will feature Lee Mi-sook, a living legend in Korean acting history, known for her 'original charisma.' This will be her first time on a live comedy show, and she plans to showcase her unfiltered wit, as seen on her YouTube channel 'Sooks' Mi-sook.' Lee Mi-sook stated, “I never imagined appearing on a live comedy show during my long acting career. I’ll show why I’m 'Lee Mi-sook' as the host.”

The highlight of the lineup, Episode 5, will feature Han Ga-in, known for her 'free-spirited' charm. She is loved for her candid and delightful personality, contrasting with her elegant image. Han Ga-in shared her excitement, saying, “It feels even more meaningful to work with senior Shin Dong-yup, whom I’ve always respected. I’m thrilled to challenge myself with this new format of live comedy.”
Meanwhile, 'SNL Korea' Season 8, which has been a massive hit since its release, will air its second episode on April 4 at 8 PM with host Go Ah-sung. Both Coupang Wow members and general members can watch for free.
