Park Joon-myun Shares Behind-the-Scenes Stories from 'The Tyrant's Chef'

On the latest episode of MBC's 'The Manager', actress Park Joon-myun expressed her regret over missing out on a tasting opportunity because of Im Yoon-ah.

The episode, which aired on the 27th, featured Park Joon-myun and TV personality Kangnam. During the show, Park shared behind-the-scenes stories from tvN's 'The Tyrant's Chef', where she plays a royal food taster. When asked about the actual taste of the food on set, she praised the food team, saying, "They not only make the mise-en-scène beautiful but the food tastes great too."

When asked about her favorite dish from the show, Park mentioned, "The schnitzel that aired recently was really delicious."

Yang Se-hyung asked, "Isn't it disappointing to only taste the food once during filming?" Park humorously replied, "There was a scene where venison was the main dish, but the king, played by Lee Chae-min, asked Im Yoon-ah to taste it instead, so I missed out. It was really disappointing."

Discussing the recent wrap party for 'The Tyrant's Chef', Park shared, "Director Jang Tae-yoo is known for long shoots. We became close while waiting for the food scenes to be filmed."

Park added, "We had the wrap party at a black pork restaurant," showcasing her impressive memory, and proudly mentioned, "I was there with the current stars Lee Chae-min, Im Yoon-ah, and Director Jang Tae-yoo."

A short video from the wrap party showed Im Yoon-ah playfully standing on a chair, pretending to be wary of Director Jang's reactions, adding a warm touch to the scene.

Meanwhile, 'The Tyrant's Chef', featuring Park Joon-myun, has been gaining popularity with a 15.8% viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area. A reward vacation is reportedly being discussed, and the final episode is set to air on the 28th.
