Recently Divorced Hong Jin-kyung Receives Offer to Join Dating Show

Hong Jin-kyung, who recently announced her divorce at the age of 47, has been offered a spot on a dating reality show.

On the October 28th episode of KBS2's variety show 'Problem Child in House,' guests included Hwangbo and Solbi, participants from the third season of 'Seeking Long-Term Relationships.'

During the show, Kim Sook, a participant from the first season, shared, “On the first date, we always go for a late-night drive. There's a first mission: holding hands for three minutes. This determines if the person will become a couple with you.”

Song Eun-i revealed that Solbi and Lee Kyu-han continued holding hands even after the mission ended. Solbi responded, “I wasn’t holding his hand; he took mine. It was thrilling.”

'Seeking Long-Term Relationships' is a show produced by Content Lab VIVO, where Song Eun-i is a representative. Upon hearing this, Hong Jin-kyung expressed interest, saying, “It sounds like a really fun show.” Kim Sook then encouraged her, “Jin-kyung, get ready.” Song Eun-i added, “Jin-kyung, do you want to join? You’re eligible now.”

However, Hong Jin-kyung waved her hands, saying, “Please don’t. I’m not ready yet.”

Meanwhile, Hong Jin-kyung recently appeared on her close friend Jung Sun-hee's channel 'Jung Sun-hee Who Left Home' on October 6th, where she announced her divorce after 22 years of marriage. She stated, “There was no particular discord,” and added, “After the divorce, I’ve become true friends with my ex-husband.” Hong Jin-kyung also mentioned, “Rael is doing well, and I’m on good terms with Rael’s father.”
