Korean Singer Yoon Min-soo Discusses Life Post-Divorce, Living with Ex-Wife

Korean singer Yoon Min-soo has revealed that he continues to live with his ex-wife even after their divorce. He shared that they still go on family trips together, maintaining a friendship-like relationship.

On the October 24th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' Yoon Min-soo, who announced his divorce after 18 years of marriage, appeared to discuss his current situation.

Yoon explained, "We both had personal issues. We resolved these matters and finalized the paperwork only about two months ago."

When asked about the reason for their divorce, he said, "It's hard to define. We married very young, and it's not that we dislike each other. We have a relationship where we support each other's lives. Even the lawyers said it would be great if all divorces were like this. After the divorce, we even went out for gamjatang together."

He added, "Not much has changed since becoming single. Our marital relationship has ended, but we continue to support each other as parents."

Yoon Min-soo continues to live in the same house with his ex-wife. He stated, "After nearly 20 years of marriage, it's hard to end it overnight. We feel like friends when we meet at home. We recently went on a family trip with our son. I didn't discuss the divorce much with him. When I asked him what he thought about it, he coolly responded, 'It's your and mom's life.'"

In a video clip, Yoon is seen cooking alone and setting the table. He set aside a portion for his ex-wife, thinking she might eat it, and took his meal to his room. Their pet dog, Soon-soo, was also present in the house.

Yoon expressed affection for Soon-soo, saying, "She's like a beautiful daughter. I asked senior Lee Kyung-kyu for one of his puppies when his dog had a litter. She's very pretty."

During the episode, Yoon visited a real estate agent, inquiring, "Is anyone coming to see the house? Is it not selling? When do you think it will sell?" The agent suggested, "It might sell by February or March next year, but due to loan issues, it might be better to lower the price by about 10%."

Yoon is looking for a new home to live with his son, Yoon Hoo. He mentioned, "Yoon Hoo won't be here often, but he'll stay during winter and summer breaks. Please find something affordable and good."
